StartUpPC
is a local computer company that services PC’s, troubleshoots networks,
and builds custom, blazing fast computers. Our main goal is to provide
our clients a cost effective solution for all of their computing needs
with a stress on excellent customer service. There are too many other
competitors and big retail stores in the Montgomery County area that
charge two, three, even four times what the price should be. Sometimes,
it costs as much to fix your computer than it is to buy a brand new
one. At StartUpPC, we want to change that. We use computers on a daily
basis and understand the importance of not only having a working
computer, but a reliable and speedy one. In addition, in case your in
the market for a new computer, we offer the highest quality,
professionally built, custom computers where each step is done with
amazing detail – not in an assembly line.
Why/How was StartUpPC Founded?
The staff at StartUpPC has watched our community have to lug their
computer 30-60 minutes to a nearby computer store, only to wait days
and days, pay lots of money, yet end up with the problem coming back
sometimes days later. Their other option was to pay $150-$200 an hour
for an on-site technician to come and fix their computer. However, when
the problem arose again, the unlucky person had to repeat the process
all over again. Next thing we know, they've spent more money fixing
their computer than it the cost of a brand new one! Our goal is to
change all of that. At StartUpPC, we are slowly creating a new way for
on-site PC services as well as a new market for buying computers. Our
services are not only cost effective, but we won't leave your house
until we've done all we can to solve your problem, or else you don't
pay us a penny! Also, we don't only want to fix your problem, we want
to make sure it doesn't happen again. At your request, we will be more
than happy to walk you through exactly what we're doing so that if the
issue ever happens again, you'll be able to fix it immediately. Our
rationale is, in the time where computers are no longer a luxury but
rather a neccessity, why shouldn't they always be working at your
highest expectations? However, with great quality doesn't always mean
you have to pay more. In fact, our prices are 1/4 the amount of local
competiting on-site service companies and 25-75% lower than any of the
computer repair stores around the area.
Executive Profiles
Brian Hendricks: Founder and CEO -
Brian founded StartUpPC in 2001 to focus on supporting student and
personal computers. Over the last few years, Brian has founded a
variety of businesses including VB-Solutions, a web design and
consulting firm and has also won multiple awards for his
entrepreneurial drive. While only being a junior in high school, he has
already been involved with multiple companies and continues to reach
new goals. Brian has grown StartUpPC from an afterschool hobby fixing
his friends' computers to a thriving local business.
Jeff Williamowsky: Systems Director- Jeff
has over 6 years of computer experience under his belt. Having
knowledge ranging back from the 486 processor, he knows every nook and
cranny of every computer system. With the ability to compare hardware
performance in his head, Jeff has been extremely helpful in the
development of our E-Builder program and the overall production of our
computers.
On a daily basis, Jeff looks over our computer configurations to make
sure that they are up to date and give our customers the best
bang-for-the-buck.
Greg McGinniss: Services and Support Director
- Whenever he's not knocking kids around on the football and lacrosse
fields, Greg spends his time figuring out new ways to improve a PC and
keep the costs as low as possible. Greg has been a vital part to the
StartUpPC team in ensuring that every customer is satisfied with the
services and technical support that they receive.
